Psy feat Snoop Dogg : Hangover MV + Lyrics Translation
Psy is back after conquering the world thru his songs; Gentleman and Gangnam Style. It became a world wide hype because the song's catchy alongside with the catchy dance moves. Almost everyone knows these songs even kids and adults who are my kpop fans. And now, he's back with the song Hangover.
It's different with Gentleman and Gangnam style in a sense that I feel it's more Americanized maybe because Snoop Dogg was there or maybe the song really has an American swag hip hop club ish vibe.
The MV is fun though, you can see a glimpse of Korean culture nowadays. We all know that almost all Koreans drink hard and Psy made a song about Hangover and the MV is about his adventures before his hangover.
Psy hanging out with ahjummas and when he felt drunk he saw them as young sexy ladies was cute and funny alongside with him and Snoop Dogg staying at the convenience store to cure his hangover. Their love for noraebang (karaoke) and jajangmyeon (black bean noodles) was also shown.
Our leaders had a cameo and they were not acting like themselves. Swag was still present but they were dancing and acting for fun. I really find it refreshing and cute that Snoop Dogg was being silly alongside with Psy in this MV.
