Poblacion Market Central : Newest Lifestyle Destination in Davao City

Last August 15,2022 Alson Development and Investment Corporation made shopping, dining and entertainment more exciting for Davaoeños with the official launch of the Poblacion Market Central.

Alsons Dev first opened Poblacion late last year and hosted over 300 seasoned and up-and-coming artists during the Mindanao Art Fair last October 2021; gathered foodpreneurs, artists and artisans during the month-long Christmas Bazaar and moved Aldivinco Shopping Center’s long-standing tenants to a new space with upgraded facilities January this year.

It’s a place where heritage meets hip and Alsons Dev hopes to draw crowds across the Philippines to Davao.

Last monday,they also formally opened Poblacion’s food hall,Kukun, which is short for Kusina at Kultura ng Dabaw.

Kukun offers value, variety and experience,serving almost everything from Persian Food by Majid’s Kabab, Filipino grilled favorites by Yassi’s Siargao BBQ,lechon meals by Porky Best, bento box meals by Claribel Restaurant. They also offer fruit and milk teas from Hootsa,mocktails and cocktails from Myami Vyce Resto Bar,coffee house Bo’s Coffee is also there so you can always get coffee fix whenever you’re there, lastly AMCG Farm where they sell the one of the freshest produce I have seen.

My personal favorites would be the Beef Kabab from Majid's, try the Tropical Fruit Tea from Hootsa if you want something refreshing but not sweet,Beef Brisket which I ate before the event started,the Cucumber Mojito w/alcohol from Myami Vyce is another thing you should try,Iced Latte, White Mocha and Carrot Bar from Bo's, and if you want something healthy you should buy Honeydew Melon at AMCG farm.
