JT's Manukan Grille in Davao: Where Filipino Flavors Come to Life

If you’re craving Filipino food that’s worth every peso, then I suggest you try out JT’s Manukan Grille.

You probably heard about this restaurant since it has been in the food industry for more than 20 years and it is the brainchild of the popular Filipino actor, Joel Torre.

As of date, they have 36 branches nationwide and only one remaining branch in Davao City which is located at Jacinto Extension former Sea Green Cafe.

If you’re located in the South of Davao, they also have a pop-up every weekend at Davao Global Township but they have plans of opening a new branch or branches in 2024 so more people can experience grilled chicken the Ilonggo way.

Their Jacinto Extension branch is quite small and the parking is about 5-minute walk but the food is so good that these inconveniences are just a small price to pay.

If you love spicy food then you must try their Spicy Paa which is served for a limited time only. I wish they also sold Spicy Pecho and make it a part of their permanent menu. I love how simple their menu is and they have a lot of menu items that is exclusive to their Davao branch only like their grilled longganiza, tuna belly and panga, kinilaw,calamares and talaba.

Their Davao branch is also the only branch as of the moment that has a coffee shop inside so if you just want to drink coffee then consider their Spanish Latte.
