Celebrate 100 Years of Disney with the Heartfelt Song 'Aking Hiling'

With the release of "Wish," a celebration of a century of Disney magic will soon reach Philippine shores. Filipino Disney fans can sing along to "Aking Hiling," a special performance of the movie's main song ("This Wish"), performed by this generation's pop princess, Zephanie, in honor of the film's impending release in theaters on Wednesday, November 22.

Zephanie quips, "I think that great things really come at the right time and season of our lives." "I am incredibly happy and grateful to have been granted the chance to sing "Aking Hiling" and participate in Disney's 100th anniversary celebration in the Philippines," the singer said. Zephanie continues, "As a dreamer who grew up watching Disney movies and shows, nakaka-relate ako sa "Aking Hiling." The song conveys a powerful message about believing in the power of one's wish, so hopefully this will encourage us even more to follow our dreams.

Disney enthusiasts can keep track of the numerous events planned to commemorate Disney's "Wish." On November 18, at 2:30 pm, Zephanie will perform the song live for fans at Glorietta Activity Center. The official music video for the song "Aking Hiling" will be available on Spotify in the coming days along with the single. On November 18, a nationwide music caravan will begin with special live performances of Zephanie's "Aking Hiling."

Ariana DeBose as Asha, Chris Pine as Magnifico, and Alan Tudyk as Valentino, Asha's favorite goat, are the voices of the characters in Disney's "Wish." Chris Buck and Fawn Veerasunthorn are the film's directors, while Peter Del Vecho, Juan Pablo Reyes, and Lancaster Jones are its producers. Allison Moore and Jennifer Lee wrote the screenplay. Along with a score by composer Dave Metzger, the movie also includes seven original songs written by Julia Michaels and Benjamin Rice.
