MAC recently opened their newest branch in Davao City, their newest store is located at GF SM Lanang beside Uniqlo and Forever21. Ever since I learned that they’ll be bringing their newest foundation at the store,I need to test it out myself.
Personally I do not use foundation ever since I started my makeup journey because when I was younger, when I need my makeup to be done by professionals and they always use foundation as a base and I feel it’s weight on my skin. I feel that my skin cannot breathe whenever I use foundation so I only use BB cream most of the time and I have been using the same BB cream brand for almost 10 years or more which is the Ettusais BB Mineral Cream.
What made me loyal to this specific to this BB Cream is that it consists of 79% skincare ingredients and the newest foundation from MAC which is the MAC Studio Radiance Serum which consists of 80% skincare base that includes 10% hyaluronic acid solution. This foundation not only gives you medium coverage but it gives your skin extra moisture which makes your skin look hydrated and leave you a healthy glow.
Tip : You may have to visit the nearest MAC store to reevaluate your shade when purchasing the Studio Radiance Foundation because it tends to oxidize so your shade in the Studio Fix may not be the same with Studio Radiance.
During the demo, they also featured a product I never thought MAC had which is the skincare. Their newest skincare line,Hyper Real is a high performance Skincare that’s designed to perform with makeup.
Lastly, to seal all the makeup, we need a setting spray that will last long. Thus Mac’s latest setting spray which is the Fix + Stay Over, an alcohol free hydrating spray that sets makeup for 16 hours.
