Discover the Thrills: Why You Can’t Miss Euro Xtreme Circus

Last Friday, I finally saw one of the most awaited events for the 39th Kadayawan here in Davao, the Euro Xtreme Circus. The group is known for its extreme stunts like Flying Trapeze, Aerial Silk Acts, and Water Tank and Burning Rope Escape Acts with a decade of experience.

This stop is only the beginning of their Philippine tour. I heard other cities in Mindanao like General Santos City, Zamboanga City, and Cagayan de Oro will be some of their stops after Davao.

I really loved the experience and I know people will ask, is it worth watching? I'll share reasons why you should make time and watch Euro Xtreme Circus with family and friends.

Rarity

It’s not every year a circus will make Davao as one of their stops. I’m in my early 30’s and I can’t even remember when was the last time I saw the circus shows. So it’s really a rare opportunity for Davaoeños and we’ll never know when will another circus show will visit Davao so now is the time to watch. Their show is scheduled every day except Mondays every 7pm until September 15,2024. While every weekend, they have 2 shows scheduled every 4pm and 7pm. 

Cruelty-Free

Unlike other circuses I know, they don’t have animal acts which is considered controversial since most circuses that use animals are often mistreated behind the scenes so as much as it looks fun to look at, animals do not belong in circuses.

Affordable and Accessible

For as low as P500 per person, you get to experience the Euro Xtreme Show circus for more than 2 hours and you don’t need to travel far to see it since they decided to hold their show at Giant Circus Tent at Davao Global Township, MacArthur Highway, Matina, Davao City just beside DGT Weekend Market. 

Since the tent isn’t that huge, even though you just purchased the bronze tier, you’ll still see the acts clearly. Higher tiers are also available if you want to pay a higher cost. Food kiosks at DGT are still open after the show so you can still have late dinner afterward.

Fun and Memorable

Going to the circus is not just an activity exclusive to family but also to friends who you want to make fun memories with. I mean it’s not every day you get to see clowns and other extreme acts live. It’s something worth looking back how many years from now. The acts are really death-defying, breath taking and heart stopping. While the clown acts are really funny and unique.

Interactive

Aside from all the death-defying stunts and acts, some of their acts have audience participation which makes the show fun not only to look at but also to those audiences who participated as well.
