Maximizing Your Travel Budget

Whenever I travel, searching for safe, reliable but budget-friendly accommodation can be a challenge. Personally, I don’t invest in expensive accommodation since most of the time, I don’t stay inside my room so my qualifications aside from it being priced reasonably is that it’s clean, convenient, safe and it’s a big plus if I can get additional discounts.

Recently, together with my friends, we stayed at Red Planet BGC the Fort branch. I was really happy with my stay and though it may not be the most affordable accommodation in BGC, I’ll share why you should consider Red Planet hotels when traveling and I'll also share a tip for finding great deals on accommodation.

Comfortable

Red Planet BGC currently has 245 air-conditioned modern rooms and offers 2 types of rooms: twin rooms and double rooms which can accommodate 2 adults and 1 child below 12 years old free of charge. The mattresses and sheets are soft and clean, which can surely provide you a good night’s sleep. 

They also provide free soap, conditioner, shampoo, towels, and body wash inside their rooms so in case you forgot to bring them, Red Planet got you covered. Bring your own tumbler when staying with them because they offer free potable water located at their lobby for their guests.

Affordable

Bonifacio Global City or BGC is a well-known upscale residential area so looking for an affordable and trustworthy place to stay can be a bit of a challenge but with Red Planet, you don’t need to think anymore. For the rates and service they offer, I must say it's worth every peso.

Modern

Since it’s newly opened, the hotel itself is very clean and modern. They also have a customized bed wherein you can store your luggage under your bed so you can maximize your room space. The room is equipped with the newest technologies like Wifi 6, Google Chromecast, and a large flat-screen TV. Red Planet offers complimentary parking at some hotel locations. Please note that the space is limited and parking is on a first-come, first-served basis.

At hotels where they cannot offer free parking, the service is operated by another provider, and there’s a charge to park your car.

At the lobby, they have 2 Mac desktops you can use and they also have a corner wherein you can do your work while waiting for your check-in.

Convenient

The location of their Fort BGC branch is a traveler’s paradise. Beside the hotel is Sunkissed Cafe which offers breakfast food all day and during weekends, they offer Breakfast All You Can for only P499. Popular food chains like Starbucks Coffee and McDonald’s are less than 10 meters away in addition to convenience stores like Uncle John and 7-Eleven.

I also listed attractions and establishments near Red Planet BGC the Fort that you can visit via car or simply by walking. All of these establishments are less than 20 minutes away from the hotel.
